Well, tonight (after months of hesitating), I finally decided to get down and dirty and just GO FOR IT! I've been dying to use the clear stamps anyway, so I just took them out of the packet and started to PLAY. In fact my daughter Georgia and I started experimenting and then decided to make a fun little video about it. It was never meant to be published - OK?! :) It started out as a fun family video ... and here's what we came up with!
I hope you like this easy-to-make gift tag idea and get inspired to create some yourself :) If I can make something like this, then you can do it too!
OH, BTW ... this is my *first ever* crafting video, so *be kind* :):) and don't mind the quality (shot on my Blackberry phone in the bathroom with desk lamps). I promise, I'll get pro at this soon! :)
Here are some preview pics as well ... let me know what you think!
and here is the video tutorial!
Credits: Thank you to my daughter Georgia Rose for being the camera person. Thank you Tim Holtz for the inspiring products. Thank you Pugly Pixels for the awesome blog embellishments (doiley, washi tape, french invoice medallion). All other graphics by Gypsy Chick/Jodie Lee. The Butterfly Garden Collection Stamps and pop stickers are sold out. You may find these on ebay or etsy, but feel free to substitute these stamps for any other type of botanical type stamps and stickers. Have fun!
These are absolutely stunning and I may have to lift the idea ;) Love seeing your work!
ReplyDeleteJust really lovely tags and what a nice video for the first one!! Looking forward to many more.
ReplyDeleteWow, they are beautiful! I feel in love with that collection and have it all and the stamps, too. Love the tutorial, it did feel a bit like a rollacoaster but loved how she zoom in! Thanks so much for sharing and can't wait to see what you come up with next!
