The second set of children's book ATC cards I have for you today is an adorable series of illustrations. Just love these because my daughter has been planting a Spring garden every year since she was just 7 and these remind me of watching her and seeing all the joy that gardening brings.

The artist's style in these sweet little books is so soft and gentle. Much more conducive to creating a nice sleepy mood for bedtime stories than a lot of the books published now! :D

ReplyDeleteThank you. I agree that's it's more difficult to interest young people in books when they are distracted by the electronics. Current literature isn't always so great, in my opinion. I love the illustrations in some vintage books more - like these.
