Live Webshow Today with Jodie Lee & Frank!

I will be joining Frank to create a really sweet Fairy Rhymes Album and Box using my new Fairy Rhymes Collection!

Come and join in the live webcast at 11am PST (USA)  here: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/primaflower

Here's what we'll be making below! Frank will be making a really cute photo sleeve album using Fairy Rhymes, and I'll be creating a really pretty keepsake box to store the album in!

Love for you to join us!

  1. Jodie - the show was amazing - Frank did a beautiful job with the memory folder using your new collection. It was so enjoyable and everyone was so friendly. I was so excited that I managed to watch as I've missed a few just lately - could be the time difference!

Anyway - I was your (not) stalker... I thought you might have guessed it was me - but there was a lot of chat on there, it was easy to get lost!

I look forward to the whole day of on-line classes - I'll be watching the info on my FB news.

I also have the latest Prima E-Zine open on my laptop at the moment... OMG - your craft space is so fabulous - all those shabby chic boxes and storage... righto - best carry on reading it then.

    take care

  2. oops - forgot to say how much I loved your box... I realised I'd forgotten as soon as I published my comment!!!

It's an absolute dream... a fabulous work of art... I think the fact that you did it upside down or whatever says how engrossed in what you were doing - clearly loving your creating, that you didn't realise - well, that's what I tell myself after the numerous cards I make that are back to front. I've ruined that many trying to resurect them, that I've started to leave them upside down, back to front and believe it really was meant to be - and only because I was so engrossed in what I was doing... anyway, it's the right way round for something like a card with lots of dimention - and you won't have to struggle trying to get your fingers down the sides to take it out... win win!

Sorry - I always write so much in my comments!!!

    take care,

  3. Hi Paula,
Thank you for coming to the web show! It was really fun to see you on there. I just managed to catch your name in the chat. It's hard sometimes to keep up with the chat and do the show, but I often glance over to the side to see who has joined! So thank you for making that effort to come!

Thank you for the comments on the box too. They are really quite easy to make. I'm sure you could make a lovely one too. It's not a bad idea to have it upside down if you want to put an album in it, so that there is room for the flowers and embellishments on top. Sometimes making mistakes is a good thing, right? :)

  4. oh, by the way, my design space is very small! I need to move into a place where I can have a studio and craft space, but it doesn't limit my imagination. I think a lot of people struggle with limited space, so it forces us to be more creative with what we have. I wish I could say I was one of these artists in 'Where Women Create' with a perfect studio, but not just yet :) ... maybe one day, but for now, just thankful for what I do have. :)
